I said to Aisha: What about the words of Allah: "Then he drew nigh and came down, so he was at a distance of two bows or closer still: so He revealed to His servant what He revealed" (al-Quran, liii. 8-10)? She said: It implies Gabriel. He used to come to him (the Holy Prophet) in the shape of men; but he came at this time in his true form and blocked up the horizon of the sky.

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: The mu'adhdhin will receive forgiveness to the extent to which his voice reaches, and every moist and dry place will testify on his behalf; and he who attends (the congregation of) prayer will have twenty-five prayers recorded for him and will have expiation for sins committed between every two times of prayer.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Qasim that his father told him that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, admitted those whom her sisters and the daughters of her brother had nursed, and she did not admit those who were nursed by the wives of her brothers.

In the life-time of the Prophet we used to give one Sa' of food or one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley or one Sa' of Raisins (dried grapes) as Sadaqat-ul-Fitr. And when Muawiya became the Caliph and the wheat was (available in abundance) he said, "I think (observe) that one Mudd (of wheat) equals two Mudds (of any of the above mentioned things).

that he was riding a she-ass and Fadl (RA) was his co-rider When they were at Mina, the Prophet (SAW) was offering salah with his sahabah. They alighted (from the ass) and joined the congregation. I sold a camel to the Prophet (SAW) on one of the journeys. When we reached Medina, he ordered me to go to the Mosque and offer two Rakat. from his father, that man asked Umar bin Al-Khattab about Tayammum and he did not know what to say. 'Ammar said: "Do you remember when we were on a campaign, and I became Junub and rolled in the dust, then I came to the Prophet (saw) and he said: 'This would have been sufficient.'" (the wife of the Prophet) Um Habiba got bleeding in between the periods for seven years. She asked Allah's Apostle about it. He ordered her to take a bath (after the termination of actual periods) and added that it was (from) a blood vessel. So she used to take a bath for every prayer.
