Some goods came to Allah's Apostle from Bahrain. The Prophet ordered the people to spread them in the mosque --it was the biggest amount of goods Allah's Apostle had ever received. He left for prayer and did not even look at it. After finishing the prayer, he sat by those goods and gave from those to everybody he saw. Al-'Abbas came to him and said, "O Allah's Apostle! give me (something) too, because I gave ransom for myself and 'Aqil" Allah's Apostle told him to take. So he stuffed his garment with it and tried to carry it away but he failed to do so. He said, "O Allah's Apostle! Order someone to help me in lifting it." The Prophet refused. He then said to the Prophet: Will you please help me to lift it?" Allah's Apostle refused. Then Al-'Abbas threw some of it and tried to lift it (but failed). He again said, "O Allah's Apostle Order someone to help me to lift it." He refused. Al-'Abbas then said to the Prophet: "Will you please help me to lift it?" He again refused. Then Al-'Abbas threw some of it, and lifted it on his shoulders and went away. Allah's Apostle kept on watching him till he disappeared from his sight and was astonished at his greediness. Allah's Apostle did not get up till the last coin was distributed.

Narrated/Authority of Itban bin Malik
From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Itban bin Malik
that he
came to Medina and said: Something had gone wrong with my
eyesight. I, therefore, sent (a message to the Holy Prophet):
Verily it is my ardent desire that you should kindly grace my
house with your presence and observe prayer there so, that I
should make that corner a place of worship. He said: The
Prophet (may peace be upon him) came there, and those amongst
the Companions whom Allah willed also accompanied him. He
entered (my place) and offered prayer at my residence and his
Companions began to talk amongst themselves (and this
conversation centered round hypocrites), and then the
conspicuous one, Malik b. Dukhshum was made the target and
they wished that he (the Holy Prophet) should curse him and he
should die or he should meet some calamity. In the meanwhile
the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him)
completed his prayer and said: Does Malik b. Dukhshum not
testify the fact that there is no god but Allah and verily I
am the messenger of Allah. They replied: He makes a profession
of it (no doubt) but does not do it out of (sincere) heart. He
(the Holy Prophet) said: He who testifies that there is no god
but Allah and I am the messenger of Allah would not enter Hell
or its (flames) would not consume him. Anas said: This hadith
impressed me very much and I told my son to write it down.

He said: 'Yes, if she sees water (discharge), let her take a bath.' I said: 'You have embarrassed the women. Do women experience wet dreams?' The Prophet (saw) said: 'May your hands be rubbed with dust, how else does her child resemble her?'" (Sahih)

Narrated/Authority of Anas
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 54, Jihaad (Fighting for the cause of Allah)
Narrated/Authority of Anas
The Prophet (SAW) sent seventy men from the tribe of Bani Sulaim to the tribe of Bani Amir. When they reached there, my maternal uncle said to them, "I will go ahead of you, and if they allow me to convey the message of Allah's Apostle (SAW) (it will be all right); otherwise you will remain close to me." So he went ahead of them and the Mushrikun (pagans) granted him security. But while he was reporting the message of the Prophet (SAW), they beckoned to one of their men who stabbed him to death. My maternal uncle said, "Allahu Akbar! (Allah is Greater) By the Lord of the Kaba, I am successful." After that they attacked the rest of the party and killed them all except a lame man who went up to the top of the mountain. (Hammam, a sub-narrator said, "I think another man was saved along with him)." Jibril (Gabriel) informed the Prophet (SAW) that they (i.e the martyrs) met their Lord, and He was pleased with them and made them pleased. We used to recite, "Inform our people that we have met our Lord, He is pleased with us and He has made us pleased" Later on this Quranic Verse was abrogated. The Prophet (SAW) invoked Allah for forty days to curse the murderers from the tribe of Ril, Dhakwan, Bani Lihyan and Bani Usaiya who disobeyed Allah and his Apostle (SAW).

From: Sunan Abu Dawood. Chapter 2, Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
Narrated/Authority of Yazid ibn al-Aswad
Yazid prayed along with the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) when he was a young boy. When he (the Prophet) had prayed there were two persons (sitting) in the corner of the mosque; they did not pray (along with the Prophet). He called for them. They were brought trembling (before him). He asked: What prevented you from praying along with us? They replied: We have already prayed in our houses. He said: Do not do so. If any of you prays in his house and finds that the imam has not prayed, he should pray along with him; and that will be a supererogatory prayer for him.

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 22, The Chapters on Manumission (of Slaves)
Narrated/Authority of Hisham bin Urwah
from his father, about Aishah the wife of the Prophet (saw) - that Barirah came to her when she was Muktabah, and her masters had written a contract of manumission for nine Uqiyyah. She (Aishah) said: "If your masters wish I will pay them that in one sum, and the right of inheritance will belong to me." He said: "So she went to her masters and told them about that, but they insisted that the right of inheritance should belong to them. Aishah mentioned that to the Prophet (saw) and he said: 'Do it.' Then the Prophet (saw) stood up and addressed the people. He praised and glorified Allah (SWT), then he said: 'What is the matter with some people who stipulated conditions that are not in the Book of Allah (SWT)? Every conditions that is not in the Book of Allah (SWT) is invalid, even if there are one hundred conditions. The Book of Allah (SWT) is more deserving of being followed and the conditions of Allah (SWT) are more binding. And the Wala belongs to the one who manumits (the slave)." Sahih

From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 23, Funerals (Al-Janaaiz)
Narrated/Authority of Al-Mughira
I heard the Prophet saying, "Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire." I heard the Prophet saying, "The deceased who is wailed over is tortured for that wailing."
