Hadith No: 11
From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Ayyub Ansari
that once during the journey of the Holy Prophet (may peace of Allah be upon him) a bedouin appeared before him and caught hold of the nosestring of his she?camel and then said, Messenger of Allah (or Muhammad), inform me about that which takes me near to Paradise and draws me away from the Fire (of Hell). He (the narrator) said: The Prophet (may peace be upon him) stopped for a while and cast a glance upon his companions and then said: He was afforded a good opportunity (or he had been guided well). He (the Holy Prophet) addressing the bedouin said: (Repeat) whatever you have uttered. He (the bedouin) repeated that. Upon this the Apostle (may peace be upon him) remarked: The deed which can draw you near to Paradise and take you away from Hell is, that you worship Allah and associate none with Him, and you establish prayer and pay Zakat, and do good to your kin. After having uttered these words, the Holy Prophet asked the bedouin to release the nosestring of his she-camel.

From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 23, Funerals (Al-Janaaiz)
Narrated/Authority of Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit
Um Al-'Ala', an Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet said to me, "The emigrants were distributed amongst us by drawing lots and we got in our share 'Uthman bin Maz'un. We made him stay with us in our house. Then he suffered from a disease which proved fatal when he died and was given a bath and was shrouded in his clothes, Allah's Apostle came I said, 'May Allah be merciful to you, O Abu As-Sa'ib! I testify that Allah has honored you'. The Prophet said, 'How do you know that Allah has honored him?' I replied, 'O Allah's Apostle! Let my father be sacrificed for you! On whom else shall Allah bestow His honor?' The Prophet said, 'No doubt, death came to him. By Allah, I too wish him good, but by Allah, I do not know what Allah will do with me though I am Al lah's Apostle. ' By Allah, I never attested the piety of anyone after that."

Hadith No: 678
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 46, Partnerships
Narrated/Authority of Abaya bin Rifaa bin Rafi bin Khadij
My grandfather said, "We were in the company of the Prophet (SAW) at Dhul-Hulaifa. The people felt hungry and captured some camels and sheep (as booty). The Prophet (SAW) was behind the people. They hurried and slaughtered the animals and put their meat in pots and started cooking it. (When the Prophet (SAW) came) he ordered the pots to be upset and then he distributed the animals (of the booty), regarding ten sheep as equal to one camel. One of the camels fled and the people ran after it till they were exhausted. At that time there were few horses. A man threw an arrow at the camel, and Allah stopped the camel with it. The Prophet (SAW) said, "Some of these animals are like wild animals, so if you lose control over one of these animals, treat it in this way (i.e. shoot it with an arrow)." Before distributing them among the soldiers my grandfather said, "We may meet the enemies in the future and have no knives; can we slaughter the animals with reeds?" The Prophet (SAW) said, "Use whatever causes blood to flow, and eat the animals if the name of Allah has been mentioned on slaughtering them. Do not slaughter with teeth or fingernails and I will tell you why: It is because teeth are bones (i.e. cannot cut properly) and fingernails are the tools used by the Ethiopians (whom we should not imitate for they are infidels)."

From: Sunan An-Nasai. Chapter 10, The Book of Leading the Prayer (Al-Imamah)
Narrated/Authority of Amr
"I heard Jabir bin Abdullah say: 'Muadh used to pray with the Prophet (saw), then he would go back to his people to lead them in prayer. He stayed late one night and prayed with the Prophet (saw), then he went back to his people to lead them in prayer, and he recited Surat Al-Baqarah. When a man from his people heard that, he stepped aside and prayed (on his own), then he left. They said: 'You have become a hypocrite, O so-and-so!' He said: 'By Allah, I have not become a hypocrite, and I will go to the Prophet (saw) and tell him (about that).' So he went to the Prophet (saw) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Muadh prays with you, then he comes to lead us in prayer. You delayed the prayer, and he prayed with you then he came back to lead us in prayer, and he started to recite Surat Al-Baqarah. When I heard that, I stepped aside and prayed by myself, because we are people who bring water with the camels and we work hard.' The prophet (saw) said to him: 'O Muadh, do you want to cause hardship to the people? Recite such and such a Surah, and such and such a Surah.'" (Sahih)

From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 34, Sales and Trade
Narrated/Authority of Abu Hazim
I heard Sahl bin Sad saying, "A woman brought a Burda (i.e. a square piece of cloth having edging). I asked, 'Do you know what a Burda is?' They replied in the affirmative and said, "It is a cloth sheet with woven margins." Sahl went on, "She addressed the Prophet and said, 'I have woven it with my hands for you to wear.' The Prophet took it as he was in need of it, and came to us wearing it as a waist sheet. One of us said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Give it to me to wear.' The Prophet agreed to give it to him. The Prophet sat with the people for a while and then returned (home), wrapped that waist sheet and sent it to him. The people said to that man, 'You haven't done well by asking him for it when you know that he never turns down anybody's request.' The man replied, 'By Allah, I have not asked him for it except to use it as my shroud when I die." Sahl added; "Later it (i.e. that sheet) was his shroud."

I stayed overnight in the house of my aunt Maimuna bint Al-Harith (the wife of the Prophet ) while the Prophet was there with her during her night turn. The Prophet offered the 'Isha' prayer (in the mosque), returned home and after having prayed four Rakat, he slept. Later on he got up at night and then asked whether the boy (or he used a similar word) had slept? Then he got up for the prayer and I stood up by his left side but he made me stand to his right and offered five Rakat followed by two more Rakat. Then he slept and I heard him snoring and then (after a while) he left for the (Fajr) prayer.

From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Anas
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) one day took a nap among us and woke up laughing. We asked him: O Messenger (PBUH) of Allah, why did you smile. The Prophet (SAW) said: A Surah was revealed to me before. Then he read out:"In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful", "Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad (SAW)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise). Therefore, turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). For, he who makes you angry (O Muhammad (SAW)) will be cut off" (Sweat Al-Kauthar) Then the Prophet (SAW) asked: Do you know what Al-Kauthar is? The narrator said we said: Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) know best. Then the Prophet (SAW) said: It is a river in Paradise Allah pledged to give me. It is full of every thing good and my Ummah will aim at it on the Day of Resurrection. Its cups are as many as stars. Some of my followers will be prevented from it and I will ask O my Lord they are my followers. Allah will say: You (O Muhammad (SAW)) do not know how they took to heterodoxy after you). (This Hadith is sound and reported by Muslim, Abu Daud and Nasai).
