Allah's Apostle saw a person sitting aloof and not praying with the people. He asked him, "O so and so! What prevented you from offering the prayer with the people?" He replied, "O Allah's Apostle! I am Junub and there is no water." The Prophet said, "Perform Tayammum with clean earth and that will be sufficient for you."

Zaid bin Thabit said, "We took the "Suhur" (the meal taken before dawn while fasting is observed) with the Prophet and then stood up for the (morning) prayer." I asked him how long the interval between the two (Suhur and prayer) was. He replied, 'The interval between the two was just sufficient to recite fifty to Sixth 'Ayat."

I heard the Prophet delivering a sermon at Arafat saying, "If a Muhrim does not find slippers, he could wear Khuffs (but he has to cut short the Khuffs below the ankles), and if he does not find an Izar (a waist sheet for wrapping the lower half of the body) he could wear trousers."

The Prophet forbade the fasting of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha (two feast days) and also the wearing of As-Samma' (a single garment covering the whole body), and sitting with one's leg drawn up while being wrapped in one garment. He also forbade the prayers after the Fajr (morning) and the 'Asr (afternoon) prayers.

"The Prophet (saw) went out to relieve himself, and when he came back, I met him with a vessel (of water). I poured some for him and he washed his hands, then he washed his face. Then he wanted to wash his forearms but his Jubbah was too tight, so he brought them out from beneath the Jubbah to wash them, and he wiped over his Khuffs, then eh led us in prayer." (Sahih)

that Aisha said: "I noticed the Prophet (saw) was not there one night, so I started looking for him with my hand. "Ali, Al-Miqdad and Ammar were talking. Ali said: 'I am a man who emits a lot of Madhi but I am too shy to ask the Messenger of Allah (saw) about that because if his daughter's position with me, so let one of you ask him.' He told me that one of them - but I forgot who - asked him, and the Prophet (saw) said: 'That is Madhi. If any one of you notices that, let him wash it off himself and perform Wudu as for prayer or similar to the Wudu of prayer.'" (Sahih)
