He said: 'He used to pray Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith, and (he would pray) Asr and a man could walk to the farthest point in Al-Madinah and the sun would still be clear and hot. And Maghrib, I do not know the time he mentioned.' After that I met him and asked him, and he said: 'He used to pray Fajr then after the prayer a man could regarding it, sitting next to him, look at the face of someone he knew and he could recognize it.' Hadith No: 330
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 34, Sales and Trade
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, "The congregational prayer of anyone amongst you is more than twenty (five or twenty seven) times in reward than his prayer in the market or in his house, for if he performs ablution completely and then goes to the mosque with the sole intention of performing the prayer, and nothing urges him to proceed to the mosque except the prayer, then, on every step which he takes towards the mosque, he will be raised one degree or one of his sins will be forgiven. The angels will keep on asking Allah's forgiveness and blessings for everyone of you so long as he keeps sitting at his praying place. The angels will say, 'O Allah, bless him! O Allah, be merciful to him!' as long as he does not do Hadath or a thing which gives trouble to the other." The Prophet further said, "One is regarded in prayer so long as one is waiting for the prayer."

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 39, The Chapters on Tribulations
Narrated/Authority of Jabir
"When the emigrants who had crossed the sea came back to the Messenger of Allah (saw), he said: 'Why don't you tell me of the strange things that you saw in the land of Abyssinia?' Some young men among them said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah. While we were sitting, one of their elderly nuns came past, carrying a vessel of water on her head. She passed by some of their youth, one of whom placed his hand between her shoulders and pushed her. She fell on her knees and her vessel broke. When she stood up, she turned to him and said: "You will come to know, O traitor, that when Allah sets up the Footstool and gathers the first and the last, and hands and feet speak of what they used to earn, you will come to know your case and my case in His presence soon.'" The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'She spoke the truth, she spoke the truth. How can Allah purify any people (of sin) when they do not support their weak from their strong?'"

Hadith No: 307
From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Yahya
I asked Abu Salama what was revealed first from the Quran. He said: "O, the shrouded one." I said: Or "Recite." Jabir said: I am narrating to you what was narrated to us by the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He said: I stayed in Hira for one month and when my stay was completed, I came down and went into the heart of the valley. Somebody called me aloud. I looked in front of me, behind me, on the right of my side and on my left, but I did not see any body. I was again called and I looked about but saw nothing. I was called again and raised my head, and there on the Throne in the open atmosphere he, i. e. Gabriel (peace be upon him) was sitting. I began to tremble on account of fear. I came to Khadija and said: Wrap me up. They wrapped me up and threw water on me and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, sent down this: you who are shrouded! arise and deliver warning, your Lord magnify, your clothes cleanse."

Hadith No: 577
From: Sunan Abu Dawood. Chapter 2, Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
Narrated/Authority of Yazid ibn Amir
I came while the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) was saying the prayer. I sat down and did not pray along with them. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) turned towards us and saw that Yazid was sitting there. He said: Did you not embrace Islam, Yazid? He replied: Why not, Apostle of Allah; I have embraced Islam. He said: What prevented you from saying prayer along with the people? He replied: I have already prayed in my house, and I thought that you had prayed (in congregation). He said: When you come to pray (in the mosque) and find the people praying, then you should pray along with them, though you have already prayed. This will be a supererogatory prayer for you and that will be counted as obligatory.

Hadith No: 69
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Adi bin Hatim
I was (sitting) with Allah's Messenger (PBUH). There came to him two men. One of them was complaining of poverty while the other was complaining against brigandage. Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: As for brigandage, it will be a short time before a caravan sets out from Makkah (on a journey) without security guards. As regards poverty, the Hour will not be established until anyone of you goes around with his charity but fails to find any due recipients of it. Then one of you will stand before Allah. There will be no screen between Allah and him, nor will be there an interpreter to translate for him. Allah will ask him: Did I not grant you wealth? He will say: Yes. Then he will look at his right side and will see nothing except Fire. Then he will look to his left side and will see nothing but Fire. The Prophet (SAW) added: So let each of you protect himself against Hell even if with half a date, or, if not available, with a kind word. (This Hadith is sound and reported by Bukhari).

Hadith No: 125
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 20, Hajj
Narrated/Authority of
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zubayr al-Makki that Abu Maiz al-Aslami Abdullah ibn Sufyan told him that once, when he was sitting with Abdullah ibn Umar, a woman came to ask him for an opinion. She said, "I set out intending to do tawaf of the House, but then, when I got to the gate of the Mosque, I started bleeding, so I went back until it had left me. Then I set out again, and then, when I got to the gate of the mosque, I started bleeding, so I went back until it had left me. Then I set off again, and then, when I got to the gate of the mosque, I started bleeding." Abdullah ibn Umar said, "That is only an impulse from Shaytan. Do ghusl, then bind your private parts with a cloth and do tawaf."

Hadith No: 147
From: Sunan An-Nasai. Chapter 1, The Book of Purification
Narrated/Authority of Amr bin Abasah
"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! How is Wudu done?' He said: 'As for Wudu, when you perform Wudu, and you wash your hands to clean them, your sins come out from between your fingers and fingertips. When you rinse your mouth and nostrils, and wash your face and hands up to the elbows, and wipe your head, and wash your feet up to the ankles, you are cleansed of all your sins. When you prostrate your face to Allah, may He be exalted, you emerge from your sins like the day your mother bore you.'" Abu Umamah said: "I said: 'O Amr bin Abasah! Look at what you are saying! Was all of that given in one sitting?' He said: 'By Allah, I have grown old, my appointed time is near and I am not so poor that I should tell lies about the Messenger of Allah (saw). I heard it with my own ears and understood it in my heart from the Messenger of Allah (saw).'" (Sahih)
