Hadith No: 702
From: Sunan An-Nasai. Chapter 8, The Book of the Masjids
Narrated/Authority of Talq bin Ali
"We went out as a delegation to the Prophet (saw); we gave him our oath of allegiance and prayed with him. We told him that in our land there was a church that belonged to us. We asked him to give us the leftovers of his purification (Wudu water). So he called for water, performed Wudu and rinsed out his mouth, then he poured it into a vessel and said to us: 'Leave, and when you return to your land, demolish your church, and sprinkle this water on that place, and take it as a Masjid.' We said: 'Our land is far away and it is very hot; the water will dry up.' He said: 'Add more water to it, for that will only make it better.' So we left and when we came to our land we demolished our church, then we sprinkled water on that place and took it as a Masjid, and we called the Adhan in it. The monk was a man from Tayy, and when he heard the Adhan, he said: 'It is a true call.' Then he headed toward one of the hills and we never saw him again." (Sahih)

Hadith No: 7
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 2, Purity
Narrated/Authority of
Yahya said that Malik was asked what a man should do if, when he did wudu, he forgot and washed his face before he had rinsed his mouth, or washed his forearms before he had washed his face. He said, "If someone washes his face before rinsing his mouth, he should rinse his mouth and not wash his face again. If someone washes his forearms before his face, however, he should wash his forearms again so that he has washed them after his face. This is if he is still near the place (of wudu)."

Narrated/Authority of Usamah bin Zaid
"The Messenger of Allah (saw) said one day to his Companions: Who will strive hard with sincerity for Paradise? For there is nothing like Paradise. By the Lord of the Kabah, it is sparkling light, sweet basil waving in the breeze, a lofty palace, a flowing river, abundant ripe fruit, a beautiful wife and many fine garments, in a palace of eternal abode, in ease and luxury, in beautiful, strongly-built, lofty houses. They said: We will strive heard for it, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Say: In sha Allah (if Allah wills). Then he mentioned Jihad and encouraged them to engage in it."

Hadith No: 94
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 9, Shortening the Prayer
Narrated/Authority of
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard from Amir ibn Sad ibn Abi Waqqas that his father said, "There were two brothers, one of whom died forty nights before the other. The merit of the first was being mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, 'Wasn't the other one a muslim?' They said, 'Of course, Messenger of Allah, and there was no harm in him.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'What will make you realise what his prayer has brought him. The prayer is like a deep river of sweet water running by your door into which you plunge five times a day. How much of your dirtiness do you think that will leave? You do not realise what his prayer has brought him.' "
