Bukhari134 Muslim25 Abu Dawud9 Muwatta197 Tirmidhi11 Ibn Majah190 Nasai19
Hadith No: 179
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 20, Hajj
Narrated/Authority of
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that his father said, "Someone who does not stand at Arafa on the night of Muzdalifa before the dawn breaks has missed the hajj, and some one who stands at Arafa on the night of Muzdalifa before the dawn breaks has caught the hajj. Malik said, about a slave freed during the wuquf at Arafa, "His standing does not fulfil for him the hajj of Islam, except if he was not in ihram and then he went into ihram after he was freed and he stood at Arafa that same night before the dawn broke in which case that is enough for him. If, however, he did not go into ihram until after the dawn had broken, he is in the same position as someone who misses the hajj by not catching the standing at Arafa before the breaking of the dawn on the night of Muzdalifa, and he will have to do the hajj of Islam later."

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 40, The Chapters on Ascetism (Zuhd)
Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Amr
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "A man from my nation will be called before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection, and ninety-nine scrolls will be spread out for him, each one extending as far as the eye can see. Then Allah will say: "Do you deny anything of this?" He will say: "No, O Lord." He will say: "Have My recording scribes been unfair to you?" Then He will say: "Apart from that, do you have any good deeds?" The man will be terrified and will say: "No." (Allah) will say: "Indeed, you have good deeds with Us, and you will not be treated unjustly this Day." Then a card will be brought out on which is written Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah wa anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu (I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger). He will say: "O Lord, what is this card compared with these scrolls?" He will say: "You will not be treated unjustly." Then the scrolls will be placed in one side of the Balance and the card in the other. The scrolls will go up (i.e., be light) and the card will go down (i.e., will weigh heavily)."

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 1, The Book of the Sunnah
Narrated/Authority of Talhah bin Kirash
"I heard Jabir bin 'Abdullah say: "When 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (Haram) was killed on the Day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (saw) met me, and said; "O Jabir, shall I not tell you what Allah has said to your father?" Yahya said in his Hadith: "And he said: 'O Jabir, why do I see you broken-hearted?' I (Jabir) said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my father has been martyred and he has left behind dependents and debts.' He said: 'Shall I not give you the glad tidings of that with which Allah met your father?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Allah never spoke to anyone but from behind a screen, but He spoke to your father directly, and He said: 'O My slave! Ask something from Me and I shall give it to you." He said: "O Lord, bring me back to life so that I may be killed in Your cause a second time." The Lord, Glorified is He, said: "I have already decreed that they will not return to life." He said: "My Lord, then convey (this news) to those whom I have left behind." Allah said: "Think not of those dead who are killed in the way of Allah. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision."[3:169] (Hasan)

From: Sunan An-Nasai. Chapter 8, The Book of the Masjids
Narrated/Authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman and Abu Abdullah Al-Agharr
(the freed slave of the Juhanis) better of whom were companions of Abu Hurairah - that they heard Abu Hurairah say: "One prayer in the Masjid of the Messenger of Allah (saw) is better than one thousand prayers offered in other masjid (mosque)s, except Al-Masjid Al-Haram, for the Messenger of Allah (saw) was the last of the prophets and his Masjid was the last of the Masjids." Abu Salamah and Abu Abdullah said: "We do not doubt that Abu Hurairah was speaking on the basis of the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah (saw), but we could not verify that Hadith with Abu Hurairah before he died. Then we remembered that and we blamed one another for not having spoken to Abu Hurairah about that, so that he could attribute it to the Messenger of Allah (saw) if he had indeed heard it from him. While we were arguing, we went and sat down with Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Qariz, and we told him about the Hadith and how we had been negligent in not checking it with Abu Hurairah. Abdullah bin Ibrahim said to us: 'I bear witness that I heard Abu Hurairah say: The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: I am the last of the prophets and it is the last of the Masjids.'" (Sahih)

The Prophet (saw) woke up and began to rub the sleep from his face with his hand. Then he recited the last ten Verses of Surah Al Imran. Then he got up and went to a water skin that was hanging up and performed ablution from it, and he performed ablution well, then he stood up and prayed." Abdullah bin Abbas said: "I stood up and did what he had done, then I went and stood beside him. The Messenger of Allah (saw) put his right hand on my head, took hold of my right ear and tweaked it. Then he prayed two Rakah, then two Rakah, then two Rakah, then two Rakah, then two Rakah, then two Rakah, then he prayed Witr. Hadith No: 285
From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Shabi
that one among the citizens of Khurasan asked him: 0 Abu! some of the people amongst us who belong to Khurasan say that a person who freed his bondswoman and then married her is like one who rode over a sacrificial animal. Sha'bi said: Abu Burda b. Abi Musa narrated it to me on the authority of his father that verily the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: There are three (classes of persons) who would be given a double reward. One who is amongst the People of the Book and believed in his apostle and (lived) to see the time of Apostle Muhammad (may peace be upon him) and affirmed his faith in him and followed him and attested his truth, for him is the double reward; and the slave of the master who discharges all those obligations that he owes to Allah and discharges his duties that he owes to his master, for him there is a double reward. And a man who had a bondswoman and fed her and fed her well, then taught her good manners, and did that well and later on granted her freedom and married her, for him is the double reward. Then Sha'bi said: Accept this hadith without (giving) anything. Formerly a man was (obliged) to travel to Medina even for a smaller hadith than this.

From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
that Allah' s Messenger (PBUH) said: When Allah loves a person, He calls Jibrael and says (to him): I love so-and-so, therefore you should also love him. The Prophet (SAW) added: So, Jibrael begins to love him. Then he makes an announcement in the heaven saying: Allah loves so and so, therefore you should also love him. Then the inhabitants of heaven (the angels) would love him. He (SAW) added: Thus acceptance is established for him on earth (i.e. that person becomes popular among the people). When Allah dislikes any slave He calls Jibrael and says to him: I hate so-and-so, therefore you should also hate him. Then he calls out to the inhabitants of heaven: Allah hates so-and-so, therefore you should also hate him. Thus hatred is established for him on earth (i.e., then hatred prevails against him among the people). (This Hadith is sound and reported by Muslim and Tirmidhi).

Hadith No: 750
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 48, Manumission of Slaves
Narrated/Authority of Abdul Wahid bin Aiman
I went to Aisha and said, "I was the slave of Utba bin Abu Lahab. "Utba died and his sons became my masters who sold me to Ibn Abu Amr who manumitted me. The sons of Utba stipulated that my Wala should be for them." Aisha said, "Barira came to me and she was given the writing of emancipation by her masters and she asked me to buy and manumit her. I agreed to it, but Barira told me that her masters would not sell her unless her Wala was for them." Aisha said, "I am not in need of that." When the Prophet (SAW) heard that, or he was told about it, he asked Aisha about it. Aisha mentioned what Barira had told her. The Prophet (SAW) said, "Buy and manumit her and let them stipulate whatever they like." So, Aisha bought and manumitted her and her masters stipulated that her Wala should be for them." The Prophet (SAW);, said, "The Wala will be for the liberator even if they stipulated a hundred conditions."
