"I asked Aishah: 'With what did the Prophet (saw) start voluntary prayers?' She said: 'You have asked me about something which no one has asked before. He used to say Allahu Akbar ten times, and Al-Hamdu Lillah ten times and Subhan Allah ten times, and he would say Allahumma aghfirli wahdini, warzuqni, wa 'afini (O Allah, forgive me, guide me, grant me provision and give me good health)," and he would seek refuge from the difficulty of the standing on the Day of Resurrection." the Prophet prayed in a Khamisa (a square garment) having marks. During the prayer, he looked at its marks. So when he finished the prayer he said, "Take this Khamisa of mine to Abu Jahm and get me his Inbijaniya (a woolen garment without marks) as it (the Khamisa) has diverted my attention from the prayer."

The Prophet (saw) said: 'As for you, O Abu Bakr, you have seized the trustworthy handhold (i.e., you want to be on the safe side), and as for you, O Umar, you have seized strength (i.e., you are confident that you have the resolve to get up and pray Witr).'" Narrated/Authority of Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansari
While talking about the period of pause in revelation, reported the speech of the Prophet (saw), "While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from the sky. I looked up and saw the same angel, who had visited me at the cave of Hira, sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I got scared of him and came back and said, 'Wrap me (in blankets).' And then Allah (swt) revealed the following Holy Verses (of the Quran): 'O you (Muhammad [saw]) enveloped (in garments)! Arise and warn... (up to) ...and keep away from Ar-Rujz (the idols)!' (V.74:1-5) After this, the revelation started coming strongly and frequently in succession one after the other."

He washed his hands until they looked clean, then he rinsed his mouth three times and his nose three times, and he washed his face three times, and he washed each forearm three times. Then he wiped his head, then he washed his feet up to the ankles. Then he stood up, took the leftover water for his standing. Then he said: 'I wanted to show you how the Prophet (saw) performed Wudu.'" (Sahih)

that the Prophet (saw) said: "Allah will admit three people to Paradise by virtue of one arrow: The one who makes it, seeking reward by making it well; the one who shoots it; and the one who hands it to him." And the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Shoot and ride, and if you shoot that is dearer to me than if you ride. All things that a Muslim man does for entertainment are in vain except for shooting arrows, training his horse and playing with his wife, for these are things that bring reward."

that two men of Banu Khudrah and Banu Amr ibn Awf had an altercation on which mosque was built on taqwa. The man from Bana Khudrah said that the Prophet's mosque was built on taqwa, but the other said that it was the mosque at Quba. Both brought their alteraction to Allah's Messenger (SAW). He said, "It is this!" meaning, his own mosque, "and there is much good in it."

Once the Prophet ascended the pulpit and it was the last gathering in which he took part. He was covering his shoulder with a big cloak and binding his head with an oily bandage. He glorified and praised Allah and said, "O people! Come to me." So the people came and gathered around him and he then said, "Amma ba'du." "From now onward the Ansar will decrease and other people will increase. So anybody who becomes a ruler of the followers of Muhammad and has the power to harm or benefit people then he should accept the good from the benevolent amongst them (Ansar) and overlook the faults of their wrong-doers."
