"A man asked the Prophet (saw): 'O Messenger of Allah, we travel by sea and we take a little water with us, but if we use it for Wudu', we will go thirsty. Can we perform Wudu' with seawater?' (the paternal uncle of Ahnaf) said: "A woman entered upon Aisha with her two daughters, and she gave her three dates. A menstruating woman was allowed to leave Mecca if she had done Tawaf-al-Ifada. Tawus (a sub-narrator) said from his father, "I heard Ibn 'Umar saying that she would not depart. Then later I heard him saying that the Prophet had allowed them (menstruating women) to depart."

that Maimunah the wife of the Prophet (saw) said: "Whoever prays in the Masjid of the Messenger of Allah (saw) (that is good), for I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'One prayer offered there is better than a thousand prayers offered elsewhere, except the Masjid of the Kabah.'" (Sahih)

'Three Sunan were established because of Barirah: She was given the choice (of whether to remain married) when she was freed, and her husband was a slave; they used to give her charity and she used to give it as a gift to the Prophet (saw), and he would say: 'It is charity for her and a gift for us,' and he said, the 'Wala' is for the one who set the slave free.'"

My mother came to me during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle (SAW) and she was a Mushrikah (polytheist, pagan, idolatress). I said to Allah's Apostle (SAW) (seeking his verdict), "My mother has come to me and she desires to receive a reward from me, shall I keep good relations with her?" The Prophet (SAW) said, "Yes, keep good relation with her."

Whenever Allah's Apostle (SAW) intended to go on a journey, he used to draw lots among his wives and would take with him the one on whom the lot fell. He also used to fix for everyone of his wives a day and a night, but Sauda bint Zama gave her day and night to Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (SAW) intending thereby to please Allah's Apostle (SAW).

that Umm Habibah bint Jahsh used to suffer from Istihadah for seven years. She asked the Prophet (saw) and he said: "That is not menstruation, rather it is a vein. Tell her not to pray for the period of time that her period used to last, then let her perform Ghusl and pray." She used to perform Ghusl for every prayer. (Sahih)
