He said, "I have found the smell of wine on so-and-so, and he claimed that it was the drink of boiled fruit juice, and I am inquiring about what he has drunk. If it intoxicates, I will flog him." Umar then flogged him with the complete hadd.

The people said to him, "But you practice (Al-Wisal), O Allah's Apostle!" He replied, "I am not similar to you, for during my sleep I have One Who makes me eat and drink."

that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Whoever fasts three days in every month, that is fasting for a lifetime." Then, in testimony of that, Allah revealed: "Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten time the like thereof to his credit." [6:160] So one day is equivalent to ten (in reward). Sahih
