"When the Messenger of Allah (saw) fell ill with what would be his final illness, he was in the house of Aishah. He said: 'Call 'Ali for me.' Aishah said: 'O Messenger of Allah, should we call Abu Bakr for you?' He said: 'Call him.' Hafsah said: 'O Messenger of Allah, should we call Umar for you?' He said: 'Call him.' Ummul-Fadl said: 'O Messenger of Allah, should we call Al-Abbas for you?' He said: 'Yes.' When they had gathered, the Messenger of Allah (saw) lifted his head, looked and fell silent. Umar said: 'Get up and leave the Messenger of Allah (saw).' Then Bilal came to tell him that the time for prayer had come, and he said: 'Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' Aishah said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr is a soft and tender-hearted man, and if he does not see you, he will weep and the people will weep with him. If you tell Umar to lead the people in prayer (that would be better).' Abu Bakr went out and led the people in prayer, then the Messenger of Allah (saw) felt a little better, so he came out, supported by two men, with his feet making lines along the ground. When the people saw him, they said: 'Subhan-Allah,' to alert Abu Bakr. He wanted to step back, but the Prophet (saw) gestured him to stay where he was. Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) came and sat on his right. Abu Bakr stood up and he was following the lead of the Prophet (saw), and the people were following the lead of Abu Bakr. Ibn Abbas said; 'And the Messenger of Allah (saw) started to recite from where Abu Bakr had reached.'" Daif

The Prophet said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights." that he heard (the Holy Prophet) saying, The slave who fled from his master committed an act of infidelity as long as he would not return to him. Mansur observed: By God, this hadith was narrated from the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him), but I do not like that this should be narrated on my authority here in Basra.

Once Jabir prayed with his Izar tied to his back while his clothes were Lying beside him on a wooden peg. Somebody asked him, "Do you offer your prayer in a single Izar?" He replied, "I did so to show it to a fool like you. Had anyone of us two garments in the life-time of the Prophet?"

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "Breaking the bone of a muslim when he is dead is like breaking it when he is alive." She meant if done in wrong action.

The Prophet (SAW) said, "Whoever manumits his share o a jointly possessed slave, it is imperative on him to manumit the slave completely if he has sufficient money to pay the rest of its price which is to be estimated justly. He should pay his partners their shares and release him (the freed one).
