"We stopped to camp at the end of the night with the Messenger of Allah (saw), and we did not wake up until the sun had risen. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Let each man take hold of his camel's head (and leave), for the Shaitan was here in this place with us.' We did that, then he called for water and performed Wudu, then he prayed two Rakahs, then the Iqamah was said and he prayed Al-Ghadah (Fajr)." (Sahih)

Sometimes a verse or so was audible and he used to prolong the first Rak'a more than the second and used to do the same in the 'Asr and Fajr prayers."

Urwah reported on the authority of his father that Abdullah ibn al-Arqam travelled for performing hajj (pilgrimage) or umrah. He was accompanied by the people whom he led in prayer. One day when he was leading them in the dawn (fajr) prayer, he said to them: One of you should come forward. He then went away to relieve himself. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: When any of you feels the need of relieving himself while the congregational prayer is ready, he should go to relieve himself.

Those who have passed the night with you (or stayed with you) ascend (to the Heaven) and Allah asks them, though He knows everything about you, well, "In what state did you leave my slaves?" The angels reply: "When we left them they were praying and when we reached them, they were praying."

that once while Allah's Mesenge (SAW) led the fajr salah, the recitation of the Qur'an became difficult for him. When he finished, he said, "Perhaps you recite behind your imam." They replied, "By Allah, yes, 0 Messenger of Allah!" He said, "Do not do it. Recite only the umm ul-Qur'an (surah al-Fatihah), for the one who does not recite it, has not offered salah."
