The Prophet forbade the fasting of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha (two feast days) and also the wearing of As-Samma' (a single garment covering the whole body), and sitting with one's leg drawn up while being wrapped in one garment. He also forbade the prayers after the Fajr (morning) and the 'Asr (afternoon) prayers.

reported from Yazib ibn Harun, who from Mas'udi who from Ziyad ibn Ilaqah that: Mughirah ibn Shu'bah led them in salah. After two raka'at, instead of sitting down, he should up. So the muqtadis called out subhan Allah, and he indicated to them that they too shoud stand up. When the prayer was over, he made the salutaion and made two prostrations of sajdah sahw and made salutation again. He said, "Allah's Messenger (SAW) had also done it."

Once a tumbler (full of milk or water) was brought to Allah's Apostle (SAW) who drank from it, while on his right side there was sitting a boy who was the youngest of those who were present, and on his left side there were old men. The Prophet (SAW) asked, "O boy ! Do you allow me to give (the drink) to the elder people (first)?" The boy said, "I will not prefer anybody to have my share from you, O Allah's Apostle (SAW)!" So, he gave it to the boy.

A drink (milk mixed with water) was brought to the Prophet (SAW) who drank some of it while a boy was sitting on his right and old men on his left. The Prophet (SAW) said to the boy, "If you permit me, I'll give (the rest of the drink to) these old men first." The boy said, "I will not give preference to any one over me as regards my share from you, O Allah's Apostle (SAW)!" The Prophet (SAW) then put that container in the boy's hand. (See Hadith No. 547).
