Hadith No: 108
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: Once the Death Angel came to Musa (Moses [pbuh]) and said to him: Respond to the order of your Lord. The Prophet (SAW) said: Musa [AS] hit the angel over his eye and gouged it out. The Prophet (SAW) added: The angel returned to Allah, the Exalted, and complained: You sent me to a slave who does not want death. Rather he has gouged out my eye. The Prophet (SAW) said: Allah set the angels eye right and said: Go back to My slave and ask him: Do you want life? If you wish to live long, put your hand on the back of an ox. The more hair you grasp in your hand, the more years you will live. At this Musa said: Then what will happen? The angel said: Then you have to die. Musa (Moses [PBUH]) said: It is better to die now. Then he invoked Allah: 0 Lord! Let me die near the Holy Land (palestine) by a shot of a stone. (This Hadith is sound and reported by Muslim).

Hadith No: 423
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 23, Funerals (Al-Janaaiz)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
The angel of death was sent to Moses and when he went to him, Moses slapped him severely, spoiling one of his eyes. The angel went back to his Lord, and said, "You sent me to a slave who does not want to die." Allah restored his eye and said, "Go back and tell him (i.e. Moses) to place his hand over the back of an ox, for he will be allowed to live for a number of years equal to the number of hairs coming under his hand." (So the angel came to him and told him the same). Then Moses asked, "O my Lord! What will be then?" He said, "Death will be then." He said, "(Let it be) now." He asked Allah that He bring him near the Sacred Land at a distance of a stone's throw. Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Were I there I would show you the grave of Moses by the way near the red sand hill."

Hadith No: 14
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 3, Prayer
Narrated/Authority of Yahya bin Said
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Said ibn al-Musayyab used to say, "Whoever prays on waterless, desolate land - an angel prays on his right and an angel prays on his left. When he calls both the adhan and the iqama for the prayer, or calls out the iqama, angels like mountains pray behind him."

Hadith No: 2
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 36, Judgements
Narrated/Authority of Said ibn al-Musayyab
Malik related to me from Yahya ibn Said from Said ibn al-Musayyab that Umar ibn al-Khattab had a dispute brought to him between a muslim and a jew. Umar saw that the right belonged to the jew and decided in his favour. The jew said to him, "By Allah! You have judged correctly.'' So Umar ibn al-Khattab struck him with a whip and said, "How can you be sure." The jew said to him, "We find that there is no judge who judges correctly but that there is an angel on his right side and an angel on his left side who guide him and give him success in the truth as long as he is with the truth. When he leaves the truth, they rise and leave him."

Hadith No: 107
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: When Allah created Adam and breathed soul into him, he sneezed. He said: Praise be to Allah, by His permission. At this his Lord said to him: Your Lord has bestowed mercy on you. 0 Adam! Go to those angels sitting there and greet them. So Adam said: As-salamu Alaykum (peace be upon you). They responded to him. On you too the same and Allah's mercy (Wa Alaykum as-salam). Then he came back to his Lord. Allah said: It will be your greeting and the greeting of your offsprings. Allah (SWT) said having made His Hands closed: Select anyone of them. Adam said: I select the right hand and both the hands of my Lord are right and blessed. Then Allah spread it. There was Adam and his generation. Adam asked: 0 Lord! Who are these people? Allah said: They are your children. Every human being's life is written between his eyes. Among them was a man with the brightest face. For him was written only forty years of age. Adam said: 0 Lord! Who is this fellow? Allah said: This is your son Daud (David). His life span is written forty years. Adam said: 0 Lord! Increase his age. Allah said: This is what I have written down for him. He said: Then I give him sixty years of my age. Allah said: This is between you and him. Live in Paradise. He lived there as long as Allah wished. Then he was descended from it to earth. Adam was counting his age. Then the death angel came to him. Adam said to him: You have come earlier. For me, one thousand years have been written. The angel said: Yes, but out of them you have given sixty years to your son Daud. Adam denied that so his successors also denied. He forgot, so his successors also forgot. From that day, Allah ordered writing down and making witnesses (for pledges). (This Hadith is sound and reported by Ibn Abi Asim, Ibn Hibban and Hakim in his Mustadrak).

Hadith No: 2778
From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 27, The Chapters on Jihad
Narrated/Authority of Sulaim bin Amr
I heard Abu Umamah saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: "The martyr at sea is like two martyrs on land, and the one who suffers seasickness is like one who gets drenched in his own blood on land. The time spent between one wave and the next is like a lifetime spent in obedience to Allah. Allah has appointed the Angel of Death to seize souls, except for the martyr at sea, for Allah Himself seizes their souls. He forgives the martyrs on land for all sins except debt, but (He forgives) the martyr at sea all his sins and his debt."

On the day of Ibrahim's death, the sun eclipsed and the people said that the eclipse was due to the death of Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet). Hadith No: 2622
From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 24, The Chapters on Blood Money
Narrated/Authority of Abu Said Al-Khudri
"Shall I not tell you what I heard directly from the Messenger of Allah (saw)? I heard it and memorized it: 'A man killed ninety-nine people, then the idea of repentance occurred to him. He asked who was the most knowledgeable of people on earth, and he was told of a man so he went to him and said: "I have killed ninety-nine people. Can I repent?" He said: "After ninety-nine people?!" He said: 'So he drew his sword and killed him, thus completing one hundred. Then the idea of repentance occurred to him (again), so he asked who was the most knowledgeable of people, and he was told of a man (so he went to him) and said: "I have killed one hundred people. Can I repent?" He said: "Woe to you, what is stopping you from repenting? Leave the evil town where you are living and go to a good town, such and such town and worship your Lord there" So he went out, heading for the good town, but death came to him on the road. The angels of mercy and angels of punishment argued over him. Iblis (Satan) said: "I have more right to him, for he never disobeyed me for a moment. "But the angels of mercy said: "He went out repenting." (One of the narrators) Hammam said: "Humaid At-Tawil narrated to me from Bakr bin Abdullah that Abu Rafi said: 'So Allah (swt) sent an angel to whom they referred (the case). He said: "Look and see which of the two towns was he closer, and put him with its people." (One of the narrators) Qatadah said: "Hasan narrated to us: 'When death came to him he strove and drew closer to the good town, and farther away from the evil town, so they put him with the people of the good town." Sahih Another chain from Hammam and he mentioned similarly.
