Narrated: Musa al-Juhani From Sunan An-Nasai
"A vessel was brought to Mujahid, which I estimated to be eight Ratls*, and he said: Aisha told me that the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to perform Ghusl using such a vessel.'" (Sahih)
*Eight Ratls are equal to one Iraqi Sa. In plain terms, the volume of water was
nearly four litres.
