that his father his father said: "A Bedouin came to The Prophet (saw) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my father used to uphold the ties of kinship, and so and so forth, where is he?' He said: 'In the Fire.' It was as if he found that difficult to bear. Then he said: 'O Messenger of Allah. Where is your father?' The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Whenever you pass by the grave of an idolater, give him the tidings of Hell-fire.' The Bedouin later became Muslim, and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (saw) gave me a difficult task. I never passed the grave of an idolater but I gave him the tidings of Hell-fire.'" Sahih

"When the deceased was placed in the grave, The Prophet (saw) would say: 'Bismillah, wa 'ala millati rasul-illah (In the Name of Allah and according to the religion of the Messenger of Allah).'" Abu Khalid said on one occasion, when the deceased was placed in the grave: "Bismillah wa 'ala sunnati rasul- illah (In the Name of Allah and according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah)." Hisham said in his narration: "Bismillah, wa fi sabil-illah, wa 'ala millati rasul-illah (In the Name of Allah, for the sake of Allah and according to the religion of the Messenger of Allah)." Sahih
