From: Shamaail Tirmidhi - The Virtues and Noble Character of The Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Chapter 3, Mubarak Hair of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
Narrated/Authority of Ibn Abbas
"Rasulullah (SAW) used to leave his hair the way it naturally was, without making a path in the hair (parting hair). The reason being that the mushrikeen
(polytheists) used to make a path in their hair, and the Ahlul Kitaab (People of the Book) did not do so. In the early periods Rasulullah (SAW) preferred to follow the Ahlul Kitaab, rather than others, in matters where no command had came from Allah. Later this was abrogated, and Rasulullah (SAW) began apposing the ways of the Ahlul Kitaab after this".

Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
on the authority of the
Prophet (SAW), who said: Allah (SWT) will say to
the least tormented person among the people of Hell on the
Day of Resurrection: Do you have any thing on earth, that
you would give as a ransom (to protect yourself against the
torment of Fire)? He will say: Yes. Then Allah will say:
While you were in the backbone of Adam, I had demanded
you much less than that, i.e. to associate nothing with Me;
but you declined and worshipped others besides Me.
(This Hadith is sound and reported by Bukhari and
Muslim).
This Hadith concludes that a believer with his sins covering the
entire globe will be forgiven so long as he does not associate
partners to Allah.

From: Shamaail Tirmidhi - The Virtues and Noble Character of The Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Chapter 2, The Seal of Prophethood
Narrated/Authority of Buraidah bin
"when Rasulalullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) came to Al-Madinah, Salmaan Farisi (RA) brought a tray which had fresh dates on it, and presented it to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam), who asked: "O Salmaan, what dates are these?" He replied: "This is sadaqah for you and your companions" (Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied: "We do not eat Sadaqah*. Remove it from me." On the next day this happened again. Salmaan (RA) brought a tray of fresh dates, and in reply to the question of Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, he replied: "O messenger of Allah (saw), it is a present for you". Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said to the Sahaabah Radiyallahu Anhum help yourselves**.
He then saw the seal of Prophethood on the back of Sayyidina Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and embraced Islam. (At that time Sayyidina Salmaan Radiyallahu Anhu was a slave of a Jew from the tribe of Banu Qurayzah. Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam purchased him (this is figureatively speaking. The fact is that Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam made him a Mukaatab - One who buys one's freedom for an agreed sum) and paid Dirhams for him to become a Mukaatab, and also agreed that he (Sayyidina Salmaan Radiyallahu Anhu) should plant for the Jew date palms, (the amount of three hundred palms) and until these bore fruit to tend them. Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam planted the palms with his mubaarak hands and it was his mu'jizah (miracle) that all the palms bore fruit in the same year.
One tree among these did not bear fruit. Upon investigating it was found that Umar Radiyallahu Anhu had planted this tree, and that it was not planted by Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam removed this palm and replanted it. Another mu'jizah of Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is that he planted the palms out of season and they bore fruit the same year.
*The ulama differ in their opinions as to the meaning of the word "we". Some say it is Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam himself, and the plural is used as a mark of respect. Others explain that it is the ambiyaa (prophets). According to some it is Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and his relatives, for whom it is not permissible to accept zakaah. According to this humble servant the third ihtimaal (supposition) is superior and more acceptable. Allaamah Munaawi's criticism of the third explanation is not forceful and weighty.
**Sayyidina Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam himself ate from it. Bayjuri explains this, thus: Sayyidina Salmaan Radiyallahu Anhu bringing the dates on both days in this manner was to investigate, and to make Sayyidina Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam his master. Sayyidina Salmaan Radiyallahu Anhu was an Aalim (learned) of the old days. He lived for a hundred and fifty years and according to some, he lived three hundred years. He had seen the signs of Sayyidina Rasullullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam in the kitaabs of previous prophets, that he will not accept sadaqah, but shall accept presents and gifts, and the seal of Prophethood will be between his two shoulders after witnessing the first two signs.

From: Shamaail Tirmidhi - The Virtues and Noble Character of The Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Chapter 2, The Seal of Prophethood
Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Sarjas
"I came to Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) while there were people sitting in his company. I went around to the back of Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) [The narrator may have done this physically]. Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) understood what I was trying to do. He removed the sheet (body wrap) from his back. I saw the place of the Seal of Prophethood between his two shoulders. It was like a cluster surrounded by til (moles) which appeared to be like a wart. I came before Rasulullah Peace and Blessings be upon him and said to him. May Allah forgive you (or Allah has forgiven you, as is mentioned in Surah Fath, 'That Allah may forgive you, your former and your latter sins'). Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam replied: 'May Allah forgive you too'. The people said to me that Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) has made duaa for your maghfirah (forgiveness). I replied: 'Yes, and for you too, because Allah Ta'aala has said: 'O Muhammad, seek forgiveness for yourself and the Mumin males and females also"'. (That is why Sayyidina Rasulullah [Peace and Blessings be upon him] asked for the forgiveness of Muslims).

Narrated/Authority of Mahmud bin Labid
Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: The most dreadful thing which I fear about you is minor polytheism. The
companions asked: What is the minor polytheism? He said: It is hypocrisy; and he added that on the Day of Judgment, when rewarding people for their deeds, Allah (SWT) will say to the hypocrites: Go to those for the sake of whom you used to perform good deeds; and see whether you can get any reward from them. (This Hadith is sound and mentioned in Musnad Ahmad).

Narrated/Authority of Abu Musa
Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: On the Day of Resurrection, my Ummah
(nation) will be gathered into three groups. one sort will
enter Paradise without rendering an account(of their deeds).
Another sort will be reckoned an easy account and
admitted into Paradise. Yet another sort will come bearing
on their backs heaps of sins like great mountains. Allah
will ask the angels though He knows best about them:
Who are these people? They will reply: They are humble
slaves of yours. He will say: Unload the sins from them and put the same over the Jews and Christians; then let the
humble slaves get into Paradise by virtue of My Mercy.
(This Hadith is sound and mentioned in Mustadrak
of Hakim).

Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
that Prophet (SAW) Muhammad said: On the Day of Resurrection, Ibrahim
(Abraham) will see his father Azar (in such a pitiable condition) that his face will be dark and covered with dust. Then Ibrahim will remind him: Did I not warn you against denying me? His father will reply: Today I will not deny you. Then, Ibrahim will say: 0 Lord! You have promised not to disgrace me on the Day of Resurrection. So what will be more disgraceful to me than my wretched father. Allah will say: I have forbidden Paradise for disbelievers. Then it will be said: 0 Ibrahim, Look! what is underneath your feet? He will look and see his father as a Hyena besmeared with dirt caught by the legs and thrown into Hell.
Due to infidelity, Azar will not be forgiven inspite of his son
Ibrahim's intercession for him and he will be transformed into
an animal and cast into Hell. It also proves that the pagans
whoever they are by kinship, will be forbidden from entering
Paradise for ever. They will remain in Hell and suffer the
agonies of torment which they had been frightened of by the
Messengers of Allah at different times.

Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
I heard Allah's
Messenger (PBUH) saying: The first of the people
whose case will be decided on the Day of Judgment will
be a man who died as a martyr. He will be brought forth.
Allah will make him know about His blessings (which He
had bestowed on him in the world). The man will
acknowledge them. Then Allah will ask him: What did
you do with them? He will say: I fought in Your way until
I died as a martyr. Allah will remark: You are lying. You fought so that you may be called a brave warrior. Then
orders will be passed against him. So he will be dragged
along on his face and cast into Hell.
Second will be a man who studied (religious) knowledge.
Then he taught it to others and recited the Qur' an. He will
be brought (for Judgment). Allah will remind him of His
favours (showered on him in the world). He will admit
them (having enjoyed them in his life). Then Allah will
ask him: What did you do with them? He will reply: I
acquired knowledge and imparted it and also recited the
Qur' an for Your sake. Allah will observe: You have told a
lie, for you got knowledge to be renowned as a scholar;
and you recited the Qur'an to be marked as a Qdri (one
who recites the Qur'an according to the rules). Then orders
will be passed against him. So he will be dragged along on
his face and thrown into Hell.
Third will be a man to whom Allah had made abundantly
rich and granted him every kind of wealth. He will be
brought for Judgment. Allah will let him know about His
gifts conferred upon him in the world. He will recognize
them. Then Allah will inquire: What did you with them?
He will say: I left no way in which you like money to be
spent without spending in it for your sake. Allah will say:
You are lying. You did so to be described as generous (in
the society); (It means you got your reward in the world
according to your intention). Now you deserve nothing in
the Hereafter except Hell). So orders will be passed
against him and he will be dragged along on his face until
he will be hurled into Hell.
(This Hadith is sound and reported by Muslim and
Nasa'i)
The purity of inteniton is behind any deed. If you spend for show,
there is no reward. Eventually, if one loves another for something
worldly this shall not count in the Hereafter. But love for the sake of Allah ~J f is great virtue in the Hereafter. Such love can be a
Muslim's love to learn from him or to take as a companion for
good deeds, without any worldly considerations, once there is
something worldly, the intention is not pure.
