Narrated/Authority of Abu Hurairah
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Prayer in congregation is twenty-five times more virtuous than the prayer of any one of you offered on his own. The angels of the night and the day meet at Fajr prayer. Recite if you wish: Verily, the recitation of the Quran in the early dawn is ever witnessed." [17:78] (Sahih)

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was seen wiping the face of his horse with his cloak. He was questioned about it and said, "I was reproached in the night about horses." i.e. not taking care of them.

that his father said: "We attacked Hawazin, with Abu Bakr, during the time of the Prophet (saw), and we arrived at an oasis belonging to Bani Fazarah during the last part of the night. We attacked at dawn, raiding the people of the oasis, and killed them, nine or seven households."

narrated that fifty prayers, were made obligatory on the Prophet on the night of mi'raj. Then they were reduced till five remained. Then, a voice called, "O Muhammad our word is never changed. Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Amir ibn Rabiah
from his father that he said, "We were travelling with the Prophet (SAW) on a dark night and did not know the direction of the qiblah. So everyone prayed in the direction opposite him. In the morning, we mentioned that to the Prophet (SAW) and the verse was revealed. (so whithersoever you turn, there is Allah's countenance.) [Ibn e Majah 1020]

Yahya related to me that Malik said, "I heard that Umar ibn al-Khattab said, 'A night in Rukba (a valley near Taif,) is more preferable to me than ten nights in ash-Sham.' " Malik said, "He meant to lengthen and preserve their lives because of the severity of the plague in ash-Sham."

Narrated/Authority of Abu Hurairah
that the Prophet (saw) said: "The Right Hand of Allah is full and that is never affected by the continuous spending, night and day. In His other Hand is the Scale, which He raises and lowers. Have you seen what Allah has spent since He created the heavens and the earth? And that has not decreased what is in His Hands in the slightest.'" (Sahih)
