Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) talked about Friday and said, "There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand." And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands.

One night Allah's Apostle came to me and Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet and asked, "Won't you pray (at night)?" I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Our souls are in the hands of Allah and if He wants us to get up He will make us get up." The Prophet went out for the Eid prayer on the Eidd day and offered a two Rakat prayer; and he neither offered a prayer before it or after it. Then he went towards the women along with Bilal. He preached them and ordered them to give in charity. And some (amongst the women) started giving their fore-arm bangles and earings.

(The tribe of) Quraish used to fast on the day of Ashura in the Pre-lslamic period, and then Allah's Apostle ordered (Muslims) to fast on it till the fasting in the month of Ramadan was prescribed; whereupon the Prophet said, "He who wants to fast (on Ashura) may fast, and he who does not want to fast may not fast."

"I could not find him, meaning The Prophet (saw), and he was in Al-Baqi'. He said: "As-salamu 'alaykum dara qawmin mu'minin. Antum lana faratun wa inna bikum lahiqun. reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, ablution becomes wajib on eating something cooked on fire, even a piece of qur'ut." Sayyidina lbn Abbas (RA) asked Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA), "Shall we make ablution after consuming oil and using hot water?" So, he said, "Nephew! that a woman suffered from constant bleeding during the time of the Messenger of Allah (saw), so Umm Salamah consulted the Prophet (saw) for her. He said: "Let her count the number of nights and days that she used to menstruate each month before this happened to her, and let her stop praying for that period of time each month. Then when that is over let her perform Ghusl, then wrap a cloth around herself, and pray." (Sahih)

heard Anas bin Malik say: "The last glance that I had of the Messenger of Allah (saw) was when he drew back the curtain on Monday, and I saw his face as if it was a page of the Mushaf (Quran), and the people were praying behind Abu Bakr. He (Abu Bakr) wanted to move, but he (The Prophet (saw)) gestured to him to stand firm. Then he let the curtain fall, and he died at the end of that day." Sahih

Prophet said, "If anyone of you stands for prayer, he should not spit in front of him because in prayer he is speaking in private to Allah and he should not spit on his right as there is an angel, but he can spit either on his left or under his left foot and bury it (i.e. expectoration)."
