that his father was in the Masjid of Amr bin Shurahbil and the Iqamah for prayer was said, so they were waiting for him. He said: "I was praying Witr, and Abdullah was asked: 'Is there any Witr after the Adhan?' He said: "Yes, and after the Iqamah, and he narrated that the Prophet (saw) slept and missed the prayer until the sun arose then prayed.'" And the wording is that of Yahya. (Sahih)

"A man came to the Prophet (saw) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I stay behind and do not perform the morning prayer (in congregation) because of so-and-so, for he makes it too long for us.' I never saw the Messenger of Allah (saw) preaching with such anger as he did that day. He said; 'O people! There are among you those who repel others. Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir from Said ibn al-Jubayr that a man who has approval (as a relater of hadith), told him that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If a man prays in the night and sleep overcomes him during it, Allah writes for him the reward of his prayer, and his sleep is sadaqa for him."

When the news of the death of Abu Sufyan reached from Sham, Um Habiba on the third day, asked for a yellow perfume and scented her cheeks and forearms and said, "No doubt, I would not have been in need of this, had I not heard the Prophet saying: "It is not legal for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for more than three days for any dead person except her husband, for whom she should mourn for four months and ten days."

I along with the foster brother of Aisha went to her and he asked about the bath of the Prophet (may peace be upon him) because of sexual intercourse. She called for a vessel equal to a Sa' and she took a bath and there was a curtain between us and her. She poured water on her head thrice and he (Abu Salama) said: The wives of the Apostle (may peace be upon him) collected hair on their heads and these lopped up to ears (and did rot go beyond that).

We worked on farms more than anybody else in Medina. We used to rent the land at the yield of specific delimited portion of it to be given to the landlord. Sometimes the vegetation of that portion was affected by blights etc., while the rest remained safe and vice versa, so the Prophet (SAW) forbade this practice. At that time gold or silver were not used (for renting the land).
