Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:"Adhering to religion will only become harder and worldly affairs will only become more difficult, and people will only become more stingy, and the Hour will only come upon the worst of people, and the only Mahdi (after Muhammad (saw)) is 'Eisa bin Maryam."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Jafar ibn Muhammad ibn Ali from his father that Umar ibn al-Khattab mentioned the magians and said, "I do not know what to do about them." Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf said, "I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'Follow the same sunna with them that you follow with the people of the Book.' "

Abu Bakr mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, "Tell her to do ghusl and then enter ihram."

that Sayyidina Abu Humayd Abu Usayd, Sahi ibn Sa'd and Muhammad ibn Muslaniah sat together and discussed the Prophet's (SAW) prayer. Abu Humayd (RA) said, "I know about his prayer more than any of you. Surely, Allah's Messenger (SAW) placed his hands on his knees while bowing as though he was clutching them, bending his arms like the bow and keeping them away from his ribs." In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book; and others not entirely clear. (up to His saying:) 'And none receive admonition except men of understanding.' (3:7) Then he said: 'O 'Aishah, if you see those who dispute concerning it (the Qur'an), they are those whom Allah has referred to here, so beware of them.'" (Sahih)

I heard Um Ad-Darda' saying, "Abu Ad-Darda' entered the house in an angry mood. I said to him. 'What makes you angry?' He replied, 'By Allah! I do not find the followers of Muhammad doing those good things (which they used to do before) except the offering of congregational prayer." (This happened in the last days of Abu Ad-Darda' during the rule of 'Uthman).
