Yahya related to me from Malik from al-Ala ibn Abd ar-Rahman that his father said, "I asked Abu Said al-Khudri about the lower garment. He said that he would inform me with knowledge and that he had heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'The lower garment of the mumin should reach to the middle of his calves. There is no harm in what is between that and the ankles. What is lower than that is in the Fire. What is lower than that is in the Fire. On the Day of Rising, Allah will not look at a person who trails his lower garment in arrogance.' "

The Prophet said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell."

From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
Verily the Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: He who professed: There is no god but Allah, would be brought out of the Fire even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of a barley grain. Then he who professed: There is no god but Allah, would come out of the Fire, even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of a wheat grain. He would then bring out from the Fire he who professed: There is no god but Allah, even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of an atom. Ibn Minhal has made an addition (of these words) in his narration: Yazid said: I met Shu'ba and narrated to him this hadith. Shu'ba said: Qatada transmitted to us this hadith from Anas b. Malik who heard it from the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) with this alteration that he substituted the word Zurra (grain) in place of Zarra (atom). Yazid said: Abu Bistam has made a change in it.

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 33, The Chapters on Drinks
Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Amr
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Whoever drinks wine and gets drunk, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days, and if he dies he will enter Hell, but if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks wine again and gets drunk, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days, and if he dies he will enter Hell, but if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks wine again and gets drunk, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days, and if he dies he will enter Hell, but if he repents Allah will accept his repentance. But if he does it again, then Allah will most certainly make him drink of the mire of the puss or sweat on the Day of Resurrection." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the mire of the pus or sweat? He said: "The drippings of the people of Hell."

"A funeral (procession) passed by The Prophet (saw) and they praised (the deceased) and spoke well of him. He said: '(Paradise is) guaranteed for him.' Then another funeral passed by and they spoke badly of him, and he (The Prophet (saw)) said: '(Hell is) guaranteed for him.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you said that (Paradise was) guaranteed for this one and that (Hell was) guaranteed for the other one.' He said: 'It is the testimony of the people, and the believers are the witnesses of Allah on earth.'" Sahih

Narrated/Authority of Sad bin Abi Waqqas
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 24, Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat)
Narrated/Authority of Sad bin Abi Waqqas
Allah's Apostle distributed something (from the resources of Zakat) amongst a group of people while I was sitting amongst them, but he left a man whom I considered the best of the lot. So, I went up to Allah's Apostle and asked him secretly, "Why have you left that person? By Allah! I consider him a believer." The Prophet said, "Or merely a Muslim (Who surrender to Allah)." I remained quiet for a while but could not help repeating my question because of what I knew about him. I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you left that person? By Allah! I consider him a believer. " The Prophet said, "Or merely a Muslim." I remained quiet for a while but could not help repeating my question because of what I knew about him. I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you left that person? By Allah! I consider him a believer." The Prophet said, "Or merely a Muslim." Then Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "I give to a person while another is dearer to me, for fear that he may be thrown in the Hell-fire on his face (by renegating from Islam)."

the Messenger of Allah (may
peace be upon him) said: The (permanent) inhabitants of the
Fire are those who are doomed to it, and verily they would
neither die nor live in it (al-’Qur'an, xx. 47; lxxxvii. 13).
But the people whom the Fire would afflict (temporarily) on
account of their sins, or so said (the narrator)" on account
of their misdeeds," He would cause them to die till they would
be turned into charcoal. Then they would be granted
intercession and would be brought in groups and would be
spread on the rivers of Paradise and then it would be said: O
inhabitants of Paradise, pour water over them; then they would
sprout forth like the sprouting of seed in the silt carried by
flood. A man among the people said: (It appears) as if the
Messenger of Allah lived in the steppe.

From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Anas
that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: One of the most miserable people in the world
will be brought from among the people of Paradise. Allah
will say (to the angels): Dip him once in Paradise. So they
will dip him once in it. Then Allah (SWT) will ask him: Did
you ever face any distress or a thing you hate. He would
say: No, by Your Glory! Never did I face anything
unpleasant. Then one of the most affluent people of the
world will be brought from Hell. Allah will command (the
angels:) Dip him once in it. Then He will ask him: 0 son
of Adam! Did you ever enjoy any comfort? (that is, a dip
in Hell can make one forget the meaning of comfort).
(This Hadith is sound and reported in Musnad
Ahmad).

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 40, The Chapters on Ascetism (Zuhd)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Hurairah
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Death will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and made to stand on the Sirat (the Bridge over Hell). It will be said: "O people of Paradise!" And they will look. Anxious and afraid lest they be brought out of the place they are in. Then it will be said: "O people of Hell!" and they will look, hoping that they will be brought out of the place they are in. Then it will be said: "Do you know what this is?" They will say: "Yes, this is Death." Then the command will be given for it to be slaughtered on the Sirat, and it will be said to both groups: "It is eternal wherever you are, and there will never be any death therein."
