Malik related to me from Nuaym ibn Abdullah ibn al-Mujmir from AIi ibn Yahya az-Zuraqi from his father that Rifaa ibn Rafi said, "One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, raised his head from ruku and said, 'Allah hears the one who praises Him' (Sami Allahu liman hamidah). A man behind him said, 'Our Lord, praise belongs to you - blessed, pure and abundant praise' (Rabbana wa laka'l hamd kathiran tayiban mubarakan fihi). When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had finished, he said, 'Who was it who spoke just now?' The man said, 'I did, Messenger of Allah,' and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'I saw more than thirty angels rushing to it to see which one of them would record it first.' Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: No other days are better to Allah than the first ten
days of Hajj Month. The narrator said: A man asked: 0 Allah's Messenger (PBUH)! Are these days better or the similar number of days of fighting in the cause of Allah? The Prophet (SAW) said: These days are better than the same number of days of fighting for the sake of Allah. And no other day is better to Allah than the day of Arafah when Allah (SWT) descends to the lowest heaven (world's sky) and boasts of the people on earth to the inhabitants of heaven (angels) and says: Look at My slaves who have corne with grown hair covered with dust to perform Hajj. They have come from all directions hoping for My mercy though they haven't seen My punishment. So there is no other day than the day of 'Arafah when the people are
released abundantly from Fire.

From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 21, Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Salim
In the life-time of the Prophet whosoever saw a dream would narrate it to Allah's Apostle. I had a wish of seeing a dream to narrate it to Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) I was a grown up boy and used to sleep in the Mosque in the life-time of the Prophet. I saw in the dream that two angels caught hold of me and took me to the Fire which was built all round like a built well and had two poles in it and the people in it were known to me. I started saying, "I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire." Then I met another angel who told me not to be afraid. I narrated the dream to Hafsa who told it to Allah's Apostle. The Prophet said, "Abdullah is a good man. I wish he prayed Tahajjud." After that 'Abdullah (i.e. Salim's father) used to sleep but a little at night.

Malik related to me from Nafi from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that she bought a cushion which had pictures on it. When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw it, he stopped at the door and did not enter. She recognised disapproval on his face and said, "Messenger of Allah, I turn in repentance to Allah and His Messenger. What have I done wrong?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "What is the meaning of this cushion?" She said, "I bought it for you to sit and recline on." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Those who make such pictures will be punished on the Day of Rising. It will be said to them, 'Bring to life what you have created'. Then he said, 'The angels do not enter a house in which there are pictures.' "

We were in the company of Allah's Messenger (PBUH) when he
laughed and said: Do you know why I laughed? The
narrator said: We said: Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) know
best. Then the Prophet (SAW) said: I laughed at the
talk of the slave to his Lord on the Day of Resurrection as
he would say: 0 my Lord! Have You not guaranteed me
protection against injustice? The Prophet (SAW) said:
Allah would say: Yes. The Prophet (SAW) added:
Then the slave would say: Today I do not allow any
witness against me except a witness of my own self. Then
the Prophet (SAW) said: Allah would say: Today only
yourself and the noble recording angels would be
witnesses to you. Then the Prophet (SAW) said: Then
his mouth would be sealed and it would be said to his
limbs: Speak. The Prophet (SAW) added: They would speak of his deeds. He said: Then he would be made free to talk. The Prophet (SAW) said: He would say to his limbs: Woe and curse be upon you. For only your sake I was contending.

Narrated/Authority of Abu Hurairah
From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 1, The Book of the Sunnah
Narrated/Authority of Abu Hurairah
"One day the Messenger of Allah (saw) appeared among the people. A man came to him and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is Iman (faith)?' He said: 'To believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers and the meeting with Him, and to believe in the final Resurrection.' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is Islam?' He said: 'To worship Allah (alone) and not to associate anything with Him; to establish the prescribed prayers; to pay the obligatory Zakat; and to fast Ramadan.' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is Ihsan?' He said: 'To worship Allah as if you see Him, for even though you do not see Him, He sees you.' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, when will the Hour be?' He said: 'The one who is being asked does not know more than the one who is asking, but I will tell you about its signs. When the slave-woman gives birth to her mistress, that is one of its signs. When the shepherds compete in constructing tall buildings, that is one of its signs. And there are five things which no one knows except Allah.' Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) recited the Verse: "Verily, Allah, with Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things)."(31:34) (Sahih)

that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: Once the Death Angel came to Musa (Moses [pbuh]) and said to him: Respond to the order of your Lord. The Prophet (SAW) said: Musa [AS] hit the angel over his eye and gouged it out. The Prophet (SAW) added: The angel returned to Allah, the Exalted, and complained: You sent me to a slave who does not want death. Rather he has gouged out my eye. The Prophet (SAW) said: Allah set the angels
eye right and said: Go back to My slave and ask him: Do you want life? If you wish to live long, put your hand on the back of an ox. The more hair you grasp in your hand, the more years you will live. At this Musa said: Then what will happen? The angel said: Then you have to die. Musa (Moses [PBUH]) said: It is better to die now. Then he invoked Allah: 0 Lord! Let me die near the Holy Land (palestine) by a shot of a stone.

that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: Allah says: Whenever My slave intends
to do a bad deed, (I say to the deeds recording angels): Do
not record it against him until he (actually) commits it. If
he has done so, write it down exactly as one in his record
book. But if he refrains from it for My sake, write down
this as a virtue in his favour. And when he intends to do a
good deed, but does not actually do it, write it as a virtue
for him. And if he puts it into practice, write its reward
equal to, from ten to seven hundred times (in his account).

Muslim and Tirmidhi).
*This above Hadith briefly describes that Allah, if He likes, can
forgive even the most sinner person believing in Oneness of
Allah and the Prophet (SAW)hood of Muhammad (SAW) rLJ ~ 4lJ1,}-. But it
doesn't mean that everyone should take it as a cover and
involve himself intentionally in evils relying on the Mercy of
Allah. A good Muslim who has in his heart fear of Allah,
should perform righteous deeds and avoid sins as per
commands laid down in the Qur'an and Hadith.*

that Allah' s Messenger (PBUH) said: When Allah loves a person, He calls Jibrael and says (to him): I love so-and-so, therefore you should also love him. The Prophet (SAW) added: So, Jibrael begins to love him. Then he makes an announcement in the heaven saying: Allah loves so and so, therefore you should also love him. Then the inhabitants of heaven (the angels) would love him. He (SAW) added: Thus acceptance is established for him on earth (i.e. that person becomes popular among the people). When Allah dislikes any slave He calls Jibrael and says to
him: I hate so-and-so, therefore you should also hate him. Then he calls out to the inhabitants of heaven: Allah hates so-and-so, therefore you should also hate him. Thus hatred is established for him on earth (i.e., then hatred prevails
against him among the people).

From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
reported that Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), said: When it occurs to my bondsman that he should do a good deed but he actually does not do it, record one good to him, but if he puts it into practice, I make an entry of ten good acts in his favour. When it occurs to him to do evil, but he does not commit it, I forgive that. But if he commits it, I record one evil against his name. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed. The angels said: That bondsman of Yours intends to commit evil, though His Lord is more Vigilant than he. Upon this He (the Lord) said: Watch him; if he commits (evil), write it against his name but if he refrains from doing it, write one good deed for him, for he desisted from doing it for My sake. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: He who amongst you is good of faith, all his good acts are multiplied from ten to seven hundred times (and are recorded in his name) and all the evils that he commits are recorded as such (i, e. without increase) till he meets Allah.
