Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said that he had heard that when Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was ill he asked A'isha, "How many shrouds did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, have?" and she replied, "Three pure white cotton garments." Abu Bakr said, "Take this garment (a garment he was wearing on which red clay or saffron had fallen) and wash it. Then shroud me in it with two other garments." A'isha said, "Why's that?", and Abu Bakr replied, "The living have greater need of the new than the dead. This is only for the body fluids that come out as the body decays."

"I asked Aishah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (saw) at night. She said: 'He used to pray for a long time at night standing up, and for a long time at night sitting down. If he prayed standing, he would bow standing, and if he prayed sitting, he would bow sitting.'" Sahih

Malik said there was no harm if a man who sold some drapery and excluded some garments by their markings, stipulated that he chose the marked ones from that. If he did not stipulate that he would choose from them when he made the exclusion, I think that he is partner in the number of drapery goods which were purchased from him. That is because two garments can be alike in marking and be greatly different in price.
Malik said, "The way of doing things among us is that there is no harm in partnership, transferring responsibility to an agent, and revocation when dealing with food and other things, whether or not possession was taken, when the transaction is with cash, and there is no profit, loss, or deferment of price in it. If profit or loss or deferment of price from one of the two enters any of these transactions, it becomes sale which is made halal by what makes sale halal, and made haram by what makes sale haram, and it is not partnership, transferring responsibility to an agent, or revocation."
Malik spoke about some one who bought drapery goods or slaves, and the sale was concluded, then a man asked him to be his partner and he agreed and the new partner paid the whole price to the seller and then something happened to the goods which removed them from their possession. Malik said, "The new partner takes the price from the original partner and the original partner demands from the seller the whole price unless the original partner stipulated on the new partner during the sale and before the transaction with the seller was completed that the seller was responsible to him. If the transaction has ended and the seller has gone, the pre-condition of the original partner is void, and he has the responsibility."
Malik spoke about a man who asked another man to buy certain goods to share between them, and he wanted the other man to pay for him and he would sell the goods for the other man. Malik said, "That is not good. When he says, 'Pay for me and I will sell it for you,' it becomes a loan which he makes to him in order that he sell it for him and if those goods are destroyed, or pass, the man who paid the price will demand from his partner what he put in for him. This is part of the advance which brings in profit."
Malik said, "If a man buys goods, and they are settled for him, and then a man says to him, 'Share half of these goods with me, and I will sell them all for you,' that is halal, there is no harm in it. The explanation of that is that this is a new sale and he sells him half of the goods provided that he sells the whole lot."

From: Sunan at-Tirmidhi (Jami-al-Tirmidhi). Chapter 2, Salah (Prayers)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
that the Prophet turned in salutation after offering two raka'at. So, DhuI Yadayn (RA) submitted to him, 'Has the prayer been curtailed or have you forgotten Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet (SAW) asked, "Is Dhul Yadayn correct?" The people said, "Yes!" So, he stood up and offered the remaining two raka'at. Then, he ended with the salutation. Then he called the takbir and went into prostration as he used to make prostrations, or longer than that. Then he called the takbir and got up and then made the second prostration like he was used to do, or lengthier than that.

From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 14, The Chapters on Business Transactions
Narrated/Authority of Abu Said Al-Khudri
"The Messenger of Allah (saw) sent us, thirty horsemen, on a military campaign. We camped near some people and asked them for hospitality but they refused. Then their leader was stung by a scorpion and they said: 'Is there anyone among you who can recite Ruqyah for a scorpion sting?' I said: 'Yes, I can, but I will not recite Ruqyah for him until you give us some sheep.' They said: 'We will give you thirty sheep.' So we accepted them, and I recited Al-Hamd (i.e. Al-Fatihah) over him seven times. Then he recovered, and I took the sheep. Then some doubts occurred within ourselves. Then we said: 'Let us not hasten (to make a decision concerning the sheep) until we come to the Prophet (saw)' So when we came back: 'I told him what I had done. He said: 'How did you know that it is a Ruqyah? Divide them up and give me a share as well.'"

Narrated/Authority of Umm Jundub
"I saw the Messenger of Allah (saw) stoning the 'Aqabah Pillar from the bottom of the valley on the Day of Sacrifice, then he went away. A woman from Khath'am followed him, and with her was a son of hers who had been afflicted, he could not speak. She said: 'O Messenger of Allah! This is my son, and he is all I have left of my family. He has been afflicted and cannot speak.' The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Bring me some water.' So it was brought, and he washed his hands and rinsed out his mouth. Then he gave it to her and said: 'Give him some to drink, and pour some over him, and seek Allah's healing for him.'" She (Umm Jundub) said: "I met that woman and said: 'Why don't you give me some?' She said: 'It is only for the sick one.' I met that woman one year later and asked her about the boy. She said: 'He recovered and became (very) smart, not like the rest of the people.'"

Narrated/Authority of Ibn Abbas
The tribe of Quraish said to the Prophet (SAW) Supplicate your Lord that
He transforms (the rocks of) Safa into gold. Then we would believe in you. He (the Prophet (SAW)) asked: Really, will you? They said: Yes. He (the narrator said: So
the Prophet (SAW)) invoked Allah (to this effect). Then Jibrael came to him and said: Your Lord (SWT) conveys His greetings to you and says: If you wish, I shall
transform Safa into gold but those who disbelieve after that will suffer a punishment so severe that nobody in the worlds would suffer, or if you wish, I can open for them the door of repentance and mercy. The Prophet (SAW) said: Rather, the door of repentance and mercy.

Ahmad).

Narrated/Authority of Ayyub
from Abu Qilabah, from Amr bin Salamah: "Abu Qilabah said to me (Ayyub): He (Amr) is still alive, do you want to meet him?" I met him and asked him, and he said: "When Makkah was conquered, all the people hastened to announce their Islam. My father went to announce the Islam of the people of our village, and when he came back we went to see him and he said: 'By Allah, I have indeed come to you from the Messenger of Allah (saw).' He said: 'Pray such and such a prayer at such and such a time, pray such and such a prayer at such and such a time. When the time for prayer comes let one of you call the Adhan and let the one who knows the most Quran lead the prayer.'" (Sahih)

Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Umar
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 23, Funerals (Al-Janaaiz)
Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Umar
Sad bin 'Ubada became sick and the Prophet along with 'Abdur Rahman bin 'Auf, Sad bin Abi Waqqas and 'Abdullah bin Masud visited him to enquire about his health. When he came to him, he found him surrounded by his household and he asked, "Has he died?" They said, "No, O Allah's Apostle." The Prophet wept and when the people saw the weeping of Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) they all wept. He said, "Will you listen? Allah does not punish for shedding tears, nor for the grief of the heart but he punishes or bestows His Mercy because of this." He pointed to his tongue and added, "The deceased is punished for the wailing of his relatives over him." 'Umar used to beat with a stick and throw stones and put dust over the faces (of those who used to wail over the dead).

I said: Messenger of Allah, which of the
deeds is the best? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Belief in
Allah and Jihad in His cause. I again asked: Who is the slave
whose emancipation is the best? He (the Holy Prophet) replied:
One who is valuable for his master and whose price is high. I
said: If I can't afford to do it? He (the Holy Prophet)
replied: Help an artisan or make anything for the unskilled
(labourer). I (Abu Dharr) said: Messenger of Allah, you see
that I am helpless in doing some of these deeds. He (the Holy
Prophet) replied: Desist from doing mischief to the people.
That is the charity of your person on your behalf.
