Narrated/Authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim
that Usamah bin Zaid used to fast the sacred months. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said to him: "Fast Shawwal." So he forsook the sacred months and he continued to fast Shawwal until he died. Sahih
