Chapter No. 2, Salah (Prayers)
Hadith No: 361
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik
that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) I fell down from a horse once. He was hurt, so he led them in prayer while he was seated. They prayed behind him sitting. (When it was over) he turned to them and said "The imam is or the imam is made that he should be followed. When he calls the takbir, you do that. When he bows down, you should bow down. When he raises (his head), you too rise up. When he calls out, "Allah hears he who praises Him" say, "O our Lord for you is all praise". And when he goes into prostration, you too go into prostration. And if he prays sitting down, you too pray sitting down." [Ahmed 12075, Bukhari 805, Muslim 411, Abu Dawud 601, Nisai 828, Ibn e Majah 1238]
