Narrated/Authority of Hannad
from Jarir from Mansur from Hilal ibn Yasaf from Ziyad ibn abu Jaad who from Amr ibn Harith ibn Mustaliq that it was said, "The greatest torment is for two people: a woman who disobeys her husband, and an imam who carries on in his office in spite of the displeasure of those who are his muqtadis (followers in prayer)." Jarir said that they asked Mansur about the imam and he said, "This means a wrong-doing imam. If he adheres to sunnah then the muqtadis will be sinners that is, those who are fed up with him."
