"They (the martyrs) were brought to the Messenger of Allah (saw) on the Day of Uhud, and he started to offer the funeral prayer for them, ten by ten. Hamzah lay where he lay, and they were taken away but he was left where he was." Sahih

And if one of them was pointed out to him, he would put him in the niche-grave first. And he said: "I am a witness over them."
