"I asked Abu Ja'far: Was it narrated to you from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet (saw) performed ablution washing each part once?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'And each part twice, and each part thrice?' He said: 'Yes.'" (Sahih)
