Hadith Narrated By Ali bin Abu Talib

"Witr is not definite (obligatory) nor is it like your prescribed prayers. But the Messenger of Allah (saw) prayed Witr, then he said: 'O people of the Quran! Perform Witr, for Allah is Witr* and He loves the odd (numbered).'" Sahih

"The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'When it is the night of the middle of Sha'ban, spend its night in prayer and observe a fast on that day. For Allah descends at sunset on that night to the lowest heaven and says: 'Is there no one who will ask Me for forgiveness, that I may forgive him? Is there no one who will ask Me for provision, that I may provide for him? Is there no one who is afflicted by trouble, that I may relieve him?' And so on, until dawn comes.'" Daif

"If I heard a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah (saw), Allah benefitted me with it as much as He willed, and if I heard it from anyone else, I would ask him to swear me an oath, then if he swore an oath I would believe him. Abu Bakr told me and Abu Bakr spoke the truth that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'There is no man who commits a sin then he performs ablution and does it well, then he prays two Rakah,' (one of the narrators) Mis'ar said: 'then performs prayer and seeks the forgiveness of Allah, but Allah will forgive him.' Sahih

that when he washed the Messenger of Allah (saw) he looked for what which is usually looked for on the deceased (i.e., dirt), and he found none. He said: "May my father be sacrificed for you, you are pure; you were pure in life and you are pure in death." Sahih

that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Do not delay the funeral once it is ready." Hasan

"The Messenger of Allah (saw) stood up for a funeral, and we stood up, until he sat down, then we sat down." Daif

Abbas asked the Prophet (saw) about paying his Sadaqah before it is due, and he granted him permission to do that. Hasan

the Messenger of Allah (saw) forbade on the Day of Khaibar, the temporary marriage of women and (he forbade) the flesh of domestic donkeys.

the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "The Pen is lifted from the minor, the insane person and the sleeper."

that the Prophet (saw) said: "There is no divorce before marriage."

"The last words of the Prophet (saw) were: The prayer; and those whom your right hands prossess." Daif

"The Messenger of Allah (saw) ruled that the sons from the same mother inherit from one another, but not sons from different mothers. A man inherits from his full brother from the same father and mother, but not his brothers from his father." daif

"The Prophet (saw) brought some meat from some game when he was in Ihram, and he did not eat it."

"The Messenger of Allah (saw) commanded me to look after his sacrificial camels, to share out their covers and skins, and not to give the butcher any of it. He said: 'We will give him (his wages).'"

that the Messenger of Allah (saw) commanded him to distribute the entire sacrificial camel - its meat, skin and covers - among the poor.

"The Messenger of Allah (saw) took hold of some silk in his left hand and some gold in his right, then he raised his hands and said: 'These two are forbidden for the males of my nation, and permitted to the females.'"

that the Prophet (saw) said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image."
