I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: "Whoever among you sees an evil action, and he is able to change it with his hand, then change it with his hand (by taking action); if he cannot, (do so) with his tongue then with his tongue (by speaking out); and if he cannot then with his heart (by hating it and feeling that it is wrong), and that is the weakest of faith." They will say: No. Then it will be said: Who will bear witness for you? He will say: Muhammad and his nation. So the nation of Muhammad will be called and it will be said: Did this man convey the message? They will say: Yes. He will say: How did you know that? They will say: Our Prophet told us that the Messengers had conveyed the message, and we believed him. This is what Allah says: "Thus We have made you, a just (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad (saw)) be a witness over you." [2:143]

And He kept back ninety-nine (degrees of) mercy. When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah will complete this mercy."

But there are some people who will be punished with fire because of their sins, whom it will kill, then when they have become like coal, permission will be granted for intercession for them. They will be brought, group by group, and scattered on the banks of the rivers of Paradise. It will be said: O people of Paradise, pour water on them. Then they will grow like seeds carried by a flood (i.e., quickly)." A man among the people said: It is as if the Messenger of Allah (saw) has been in the desert."
