'I saw Abu Hurairah hitting his forehead with his hand and saying: "O people of Iraq! Do you claim that I would tell a lie against the Messenger of Allah (saw) so that it may be more convenient for you and a sin upon me?' I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Daif)

that he heard the Prophet (saw) say: "Dreams are attached to the foot of a bird* until they are interpreted, then when they are interpreted they come to pass." He said: "And dreams are one of the forty-six parts of prophecy." He (the narrator) said: "And I think he said: '(A person) should not tell them except to one whom he loves or one who is wise.'" *It is said that this is a parable, and its meaning is that they are not settled.
